Unplugged

We spent a month and a half without cable and Internet...but we are back online now.  The past 6 weeks have been fun!  We enjoyed a visit to Kentucky and Indiana to see our dear friends and had a blast in the country and the city.  Labor Day weekend, we spent at Buffalo Hill Farm, in Oxford, MA at our annual church retreat.  We finished up the month with a celebration of Paul's birthday and Raina's baby dedication.

What a blessing to enter motherhood alongside one of my bestest friends.  Sweet Kennedy arrived on July 9th.  What a cutie!!

McBurney's Farm, Kentucky.  Raina helps feed the sheep!

Raina loved helping "aunt Jane" feed the horses too!

I loved walking down the country road lined with corn.  Ahhhhh!

Alongside the river walk in Indianapolis.  Raina has a show-down with a goose!

Indianapolis Zoo:  Raina face to face with the tiger.

This carrot cake was worth the fact that we indeed ate at the Indianapolis Colts Grille....enemy territory for Patriots fans!

Raina had fun riding the people movers at the airport.

Raina gets to ride the saddle swing for the first time; a Buffalo Hill Farm favorite!

Our sleeping quarters for the weekend on the screened-in porch overlooking the tree-lined driveway and cornfields

Raina shows Ian the corn that she helped husk

A visit to a local farm:  Raina, Mia, and Logan checking out the ducks
