Big Big Week

This past Monday marked the end of our maternity/paternity leave and the start of day care for Raina and the reality of becoming working parents. It's been emotional and exhausting as we work on creating a new routine. We are doing it one day at a time!

All bundled up by 6am!

In the car seat and ready to start our commute. First, we drop daddy off at the train and then mommy brings Raina to day care prior to getting to work for a 7:30am start.

The week went well considering the big change in routine for all of us. Raina has adjusted to day care remarkably well (It's much harder for mommy!) Here is some of the comments that were written on Raina's notes home from day care:

"Her little personality is great." "Raina is winning over our hearts already!" "I was really full of energy today and showed my teachers just how strong I am. I moved myself off the boppy and away from it and was very happy to watch everyone around me." "Raina was content and vocal during social time with her friend, Linnea; the two of them were "talking" to each other at one point!"

After a week like that, we just cannot stay awake for Monday night football!
