Okay, so there's no doubt that our little girl is following suit with our theme: Fitzys' Adventures....or we could just say, "Life Father, Like Daughter!" Here's what we are talking about:
October 20, 2010: Raina rolls over from her tummy to her back for the first time at the age of 9 weeks, 1 day! Witnesses: mommy, daddy, grandpa Jim, and grandma Paula. It was so exciting for all of us to watch her. We showered her with cheers which resulted in a big boo-boo face from Raina. She wasn't sure what she did and if it was okay or not. Mommy reassured her it was good stuff and the frown turned to a smile!
October 29, 2010: Mommy lays Raina on her back to play on her floor gym. Mommy watches Raina lift her feet up in the air and turn to her left side. No big deal, she's been doing that for weeks. As mommy continues to watch, she notices that Raina is lifting her head and looking over her left shoulder. Mommy, who is now lying behind Raina, is saying, "Surely you are not going to roll onto your tummy. It's tough to get over that shoulder." Oh but there's a picture of a yellow cat on her floor mat that is way too interesting to stop looking at. Raina continues to keep her head lifted high and continues to look over that shoulder while rocking gently. Mommy is now saying, "You little squirt, you are going to do this, aren't you?!" Sure enough, mommy as the only witness, watches in amazement, as Raina rolls from her back to your tummy for the first time! Yup, at the age of 10 weeks, 3 days! Whoa! Raina looked so proud as she prompted up on her elbows looking at the yellow cat. Mommy still can't believe it! She immediately sent daddy a text message sharing the news. If this keeps up, we are going to have our hands full! But then again, what should we expect from the daughter of a wrestler, rugby player, football player, triathlete, etc....?!
Here's a few pictures of our mover and shaker! Enjoy!
